WHAT TO EXPECT
At Velocity, we hope to create a place where anyone can come and learn the truth about God's love. Whether you grew up in church, or this is your first time ever, we want to welcome you. You'll quickly discover that at Velocity, we love to laugh, we love kids, and we love explaining the Bible in a very real and simple way. So bring your coffee, sit back, relax, and experience everything Velocity has to offer.
Where is Velocity Located?
Velocity Church has a brand new home located in Richmond Heights, near the corner of Trebisky Rd. and Highland Rd. Parking is available behind the church building.

What does a typical Sunday Service look like?
A service begins with our live band playing. Someone on our preaching team will then share a message from the Bible that is interesting, relevant, and relatable. We involve creativity by using video, illustrations, and examples that help you connect with God.
What should I wear?
You can wear whatever you’re comfortable in. Most people at Velocity wear jeans, T-shirts, shorts, flip-flops, or tennis shoes. If you have a favorite sports team jersey, feel free to wear it as well. Our only dress code is "please do"!
Will I have to introduce myself?
Our goal at Velocity is to make you feel welcome and comfortable, and we would love to get to know you! Our friendly greeters will welcome you when you arrive, and can help you find things like the worship center or our Kidz City classrooms. After service, our pastors and staff would love to meet you and introduce themselves. Of course, there's absolutely no pressure, but we do hope we get to meet you.
Do I need to bring a bible with me?
All of the Bible verses we use will be displayed in clear English on the big screen. We also have free Bibles for you to use or take home to keep. If you already own a Bible that you really like, feel free to bring it.
What is communion?
At Velocity, we encourage everyone who believes Jesus is God's son who died on the cross for our sins, to celebrate communion with us. We do this each week as a way of remembering and honoring Jesus' sacrifice. The elements are pre-packaged and are available when you first walk into the worship center. Grab however many you need for your family. There is a dedicated time during the worship service where we will celebrate communion together.
