The goal of Kidz City is to provide a safe environment for your children to learn about God, which is why we provide amazing programs for kids from birth-5th grade. We know that God has a unique plan for your child’s life and we want to work with you as parents to help them discover that plan.
Our children’s ministries are broken down as follows:
- Babies
- Walkers
- 3, 4, and 5 year olds
- K-5th grade
CHECK-IN
At Velocity, safety is very important to us. That's why we use a 2-part sticker system for check-in. The first part has your child's name and any allergies the teacher needs to be aware of, and a 3 digit security code. The parent or guardian takes the second part which lists a matching 3-digit security code. This security code will appear on the screen during service if we need you for any reason. You will also need to present this code to the teacher to pick up your child after service.
If you are a first time guest, a team member will provide you with a New Family Form. Please fill this out as completely as possible because this makes sure that we have all the emergency contact info we need to keep your child safe, and it will allow us to get to know your family better.
SAFETY FIRST
The most important thing in a parent’s life is their children. All of our children’s ministry team members are background checked by the state of Ohio before they are allowed to volunteer. You can be confident leaving your children in the greatest church environment your kids will ever see.
