SCOTT PUGH
LEAD PASTOR
Scott is the Lead Pastor at Velocity Church. He is also the founder and director of Love Cleveland - a non-profit organization that helps meet the needs of the at-risk children in Cleveland, OH. He is author of three books - My New Church, Children Matter and The Church Next Door.
Before starting Velocity, Scott was a Youth Pastor for 13 years. He spend 7 years at a super cool church in Tollesboro, KY (Yep! Tollesboro. That's right next to Ribolt and Rectorville.) He spent another 6 years at High Point Christian Church in Clinton, OH.
Scott has been married to his wife Vanessa and they have two amazing kids. They love spending time playing kickball with all of the neighborhood kids and watching movies. In his free time, Scott enjoys training for triathlons, riding mountain bikes and spending time with his family.
NATE DIAMOND
FAMILY PASTOR
Nate grew up in South Euclid and graduated from Brush High School—just minutes from where he now serves at Velocity Church. After earning his degree in Preaching and Church Ministry from Cincinnati Christian University, Nate returned home with a heart to invest in the next generation.
As Family Pastor, Nate is passionate about making children and students matter in Cleveland by leading Velocity’s Kidz City and SMASH Youth ministries, and by partnering with local schools to meet the needs of families in the community.
Nate and his wife, Amani, have two kids, Eden and Asher, who keep life full of laughter and adventure. He loves spending time outdoors—camping, fishing, biking, and running—and still enjoys a good sitcom, a strong cup of coffee, and a night at the movies with Amani.
ERIC BUSSEY
WORSHIP PASTOR
Eric grew up in Kernersville, NC. His family moved to Canton, OH in 2019 and Eric started on staff, at Velocity, in August of 2021.
Eric loves watching Ohio State football and being let down yearly by the Cleveland Browns. He enjoys bouldering at the climbing gym, reading, and going to the local beaches nearby. He also loves watching Friends, The King of Queens, and The Simpsons.
STACI DOMBROWSKI
OFFICE ADMIN
Staci grew up in the small town of Champion, OH and moved to the Cleveland area in 2010. She has a love for baking and reading, and you'll almost always find her holding a good cup of coffee. Staci and her husband, Matt, were married in 2017 and have a son- Aleksander. They enjoy several hobbies together, including traveling and cooking.
Before joining the staff, Staci served in several volunteer roles at Velocity, such as Walker Room Team Member, Kidz City Coordinator, and Service Event Planning Team Member. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Kent State University and an MBA from Baldwin Wallace University.
