What is a Breakout Session?

Breakout sessions are 1 hour meetings designed to help grow your faith, learn a skill, or connect with others. Each breakout session is offered 3 times, but please do not register for the same breakout all 3 times so that as many people as possible have a chance to get the sessions they prefer. These breakouts are offered in lieu of small groups this year.

Is there a cost to attend?

Yes- the cost is $50 for the weekend or $30 if you can only attend one day. (While we hope you are able to attend the full retreat, we understand that life happens and that's not always possible.) This fee allows us to put on a high-quality event for you, along with providing all the meals, snacks, and swag. 

If cost is preventing you from attending, please reach out to info@velocitycleveland.org for assistance. We want every woman to attend, regardless of ability to pay.

Do I stay the night?

No. This is not an “overnight” event at the church. If you’re coming from out of town or just want a night away, there are several nice hotels in the Mayfield Heights area.

 Can I invite a friend (or my daughter, or sister, or …) ?  

Yes! There is no age restriction on this retreat, so it's open to all women from teens to mature adults. There will not be childcare, however, so we do not recommend bringing young children. It is important for those who plan to attend to sign up, though, so that we can prepare enough food and properly plan the breakout sessions.

 I’m excited! How can I get involved more?  

While there is NO pressure to help out, we are looking for volunteers to help in a variety of ways. If you’d like more information on how to volunteer at the event, please check the appropriate box on the registration form.
