At Velocity, we don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we are serious about helping people discover the truth about God’s love. Our Sunday morning services will help to ignite your faith- a faith that may have been lost, forgotten, or never existed. We aim to fuel your life by connecting you with other people who also want to learn the truth for themselves. And at Velocity, we provide opportunities for each person to make an impact bigger than you ever thought possible. There are ways for your whole family to get connected at Velocity. Jesus said children were the most important people on earth, and we think so, too!
Velocity is a place where you can come no matter how burnt out on church you are or no matter how far from God you may feel. We hope you’ll join us this Sunday!

We know checking out a new church can be scary. That's why we put together a list of our most commonly asked questions, because you aren't the only one asking.
What does a typical Sunday Service look like?
A service begins with our live band playing. Someone on our preaching team will then share a message from the Bible that is interesting, relevant, and relatable. We involve creativity by using video, illustrations, and examples that help you connect with God.
What should I wear?
You can wear whatever you’re comfortable in. Most people at Velocity wear jeans, T-shirts, shorts, flip-flops, or tennis shoes. If you have a favorite sports team jersey, feel free to wear it as well. Our only dress code is "please do"!
Will I have to introduce myself?
Our goal at Velocity is to make you feel welcome and comfortable, and we would love to get to know you! Our friendly greeters will welcome you when you arrive, and can help you find things like the worship center or our Kidz City classrooms. After service, our pastors and staff would love to meet you and introduce themselves. Of course, there's absolutely no pressure, but we do hope we get to meet you.
What is communion?
At Velocity, we encourage everyone who believes that Jesus is God's son who died on the cross for our sins to celebrate communion with us. We do this each week as a way of remembering and honoring Jesus' sacrifice. The elements are pre-packaged and are available when you first walk into the worship center. Grab however many you need for your family. There is a dedicated time during the worship service where we will celebrate communion together.
Do I need to bring a Bible with me?
All of the Bible verses we use will be displayed in clear English on the big screen. We also have free Bibles for you to use or take home to keep. If you already own a Bible that you really like, feel free to bring it.
Where is the main office?
Velocity Church central offices are located in Richmond Heights, near the corner of Trebisky Road and Highland Road. Parking is available behind the church building.
