What to expect

Strong Cabin is located in Hogback Ridge Park. There’s excellent hiking and biking trails nearby and a fishing pond on the property. Feel free to bring your yard games ( corn hole, bocce, etc) and your airsoft guns (no fire arms, please), as well. Throughout each of the days, there will be some structured ministry-based conversations. Frequently asked Questions

Is there a cost to attend?

Yes- this year, there is a small fee to cover the cost of food and site rental. It’ll be $10 for Friday and $15 for Saturday. You only have to pay for the time you attend. This fee is in lieu of each person bringing food to share and makes it easier for the event organizer plan meals, snacks, etc. Scroll down to the “How to Pay” section for more details. If finances prevent you from attending, please reach out to Matt Dombrowski. We want everyone to come, regardless of ability to pay.

There is a charge of $55 for the optional skeet shooting event, if you’re interested in that. (See below for more information.)

Do I have to stay the night?

No. You are welcome to come for any part of the weekend. You can also leave and come back later, if your schedule allows.

Where do we sleep?

There is space for 8 people to sleep inside the cabin, on bunk beds. These spots are first-come first-serve, based on sign ups. If all the spots are full, please contact Matt Dombrowski at mdmattsfinishing311@gmail.com for additional arrangements.

What should I bring?

Bring anything you’d need to feel comfortable camping: fishing pole, yard games, pellet gun or Air Soft gun (no standard fire arms, please), camp chair, reusable water bottle, etc.

If you plan to stay the night, bring bedding, change of clothes, and basic toiletries.

How primitive is the cabin?

Inside the cabin, there is a half- bathroom (sink and toilet, but no shower) and a small kitchen with a sink and stove/ oven. The cabin is equipped with air conditioning, if the weather gets too hot and you need to cool down. There is electricity/ outlets available, as well.
