What is a church campus?
The best way to explain a church campus is to think of McDonalds. In each location, different people will be working but you get the same experience and quality. A church campus operates the same way. Our Mentor location will look different and have different volunteers, but you’ll still get the same great Velocity experience. You can expect excellent worship music, a relevant message, and fantastic kids’ programs.

Why campus?
In 2020, Velocity was blessed with the ability to purchase a building in Richmond Heights. But after several years and consistent growth, we’re starting to hit capacity. A significant percentage of people come from the Mentor area, so it made sense to plant a church in that location. This frees up space for more people to check out the Heights campus, and it gives our Mentor crew the opportunity to worship closer to home and invite friends and neighbors to join.

What can I expect?
Depending on how you grew up, it may seem strange to attend church in a school building. But our mobile campus will offer everything you love about Velocity! For our children, we move all the desk and chairs and turn middle school classrooms into Kidz City rooms, and the adults meet in the auditorium. You can still expect to hear great music and a message that help you take a step towards God.
